Virtual Foundational Training for Clinicians

As interest in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) continues to grow, many clinicians are seeking a deeper understanding of how to ethically and effectively support clients engaging in this work. This live virtual training provides an ethical, clinically grounded, and relationally focused introduction to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), emphasizing preparation, integration, therapeutic support, and thoughtful referral considerations.

This foundational training is ideal for:

• Clinicians who want to better support clients already engaging in ketamine treatment
• Therapists interested in understanding when KAP may be clinically appropriate
• Providers seeking greater competency in psychedelic integration and harm reduction
• Clinicians considering pursuing more advanced experiential KAP training in the future

Participants will explore the following training objectives:

• Module 1: What is KAP and Introduction to Ketamine
• Module 2: Neuroscience and Mechanisms of Action of Ketamine
• Module 3: Ethics, Cultural Humility, and Informed Consent in KAP
• Module 4: Collaboration with Prescribers in KAP
• Module 5: Creating a Treatment Plan and Preparation for KAP
• Module 6: Holding the Container and Psychedelic Integration in KAP

Special attention will be given to:

• Supporting clients through preparation and integration
• Understanding altered states and the therapeutic process
• Identifying when referral for KAP may be appropriate
• Building confidence in collaborating with ketamine providers and treatment teams
