OUR
PURPOSE

We are an innovative psychotherapy and coaching practice. We use creative and concierge tools to meet the needs of our clients. We work diligently to eliminate the stigma attached to mental health and to reposition it as a mental wellness system. We are proactive rather than reactive in our approach.

We proudly customize services. We offer both traditional weekly therapy services as well as more in-depth services such as our EMDR intensives and Family retreats. We are happy you found us. If you are interested in learning how we can help you to become a better, happier, healthier, and more fulfilled you, contact us today.

A MORE EFFICIENT METHOD

Therapy should not be a one size fits all approach. The methods our team uses when creating a customized care plan for each client is entirely unique to every individual. We understand that what works for you may not work for someone else and vice versa. Our main priority is helping each individual heal from past trauma, learn to cope with stress, better communication skills, and build healthy relationships with loved ones. Depending on your specific goals and progress in each session, our therapists will continue to build and adjust your care plan. Taking the step to get help is a huge accomplishment and we want to make sure to support your journey in every way we can.

Cassandra

LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor

Welcome! My name is Cassandra  Van Voorhees and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor. I received my BS in Therapeutic Recreation from Arizona State University and MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

I work along-side individuals who are searching for increased inner-peace, acceptance and appreciation in who they are. Together, we will identify past traumas, current stressors, and future fears that are holding you back from living your life to the fullest. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, dissociation, depression and anxiety as well as people who are navigating finding their higher purpose. I utilize evidenced-based modalities including; EMDR, Structural Dissociation, Internal Family Systems, DBT and mindfulness.

Through holistic and integrative practice, I help individuals create an increase in self-love, increase in the ability to tolerate and feel uncomfortable emotions and develop healthy coping skills to manage everyday life challenges while making more room for more enjoyment and connection to the mind, body and spirit.

I bring my authentic self and whole heart into each and every session. I believe the process of a building safe and therapeutic relationship is where profound, life-altering healing can happen. I consider it an honor to hold space for meaningful change and healing and I look forward to supporting you in your healing process.

Cynthia

Cynthia earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ottawa University. She holds certificates in ontological coaching from Newfield Network’s Coaching for Personal and Professional Mastery Program, Somatic Experiencing from Somatic Experiencing International, and in the treatment of grief. Cynthia specializes in helping people to process and heal from shock trauma, developmental and birth trauma, and relational trauma in a way that supports connection and healing in the body. Cynthia understands the nexus between trauma and grief and loss. She creates safe, contained spaces in which her clients can process these difficult experiences and can move through their own transitions.

Cynthia has taught reiki, yoga, and meditation, all of which provide a background of mindfulness for her individual sessions, workshops, and retreats. Cynthia also presents internationally on the intersection between trauma and professional life, managing stress and overwhelm to avoid burnout, and how people can enhance performance—even while they are cultivating well-being.

In her spare time, you can find Cynthia hanging out with her partner and their three dogs. She enjoys hiking, yoga, mountain biking, traveling, and making great food for her loved ones.

OUR CORE VALUES

DUTY TO SELF

In a field where many clinicians are undervalued and overworked, we believe that competent and effective clinical work starts with clinicians who are balanced, do their own work and have the time and space to focus on themselves.

SERVICE TO OTHERS

We use our clinical expertise with your personal expertise of yourself to light a lantern and walk with you down your journey of self-exploration, healing and happiness.

CLINICAL EXCELLENCE

We proudly collaborate with The Clinical Best Practice Institute to provide our clients with the most ethical and up-to-date therapeutic services that are out there.

UNCONVENTIONALLY BOLD

We believe in traditional therapy. We also believe there are other ways to get to where we are going and that one size does not fit all. We are taking concierge therapeutic services to a whole new level.

BEACON OF LIGHT

We shine light in dark places. We provide a lantern for people as a guide on their journey. No two journeys are the same but you don’t have to take that journey alone.
